Most posts on this site will be directly related to the Four Quadrant – LifeQuad ™ system. Today I want to simply share a very interesting insight I believe God showed me this morning. As believers, most of us struggle with the thought of Christ’s sacrifice covering all our sins, allowing us to stand before a Holy God as pure and clean. I struggle with it. And I bet you do as well, from time to time. Here is the word picture I saw this morning:
Imagine your life in Christ as a new car. But this car is filthy. By simply running it through a car wash the outer layer of dirt and muck is removed, allowing you to see the beautiful, shiny new paint underneath. That is your true life in Christ. Too often we are distracted with the dirty exterior and cannot see, or accept, that the car is actually shiny, new and clean underneath.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Cor. 5:17
Christ has made you a beautiful Ferrari…. Run your life through the car wash of the Word. See it as the beauty God made to be.
