Previously, we have covered the four separate quadrants of the LifeQuad ™ life plan system. Today, we want to introduce you to the THREE in the 4 – 3 – 2 – 1 progression. *
THREE describes the three parts of your day:
1. Your Morning Start
2. Your DAY (the majority of the day you spend doing work, study or play)
3. Your Evening Recap.
Each of these three parts of your day are very significant, for different reasons.
Morning Start – If you start the day off without pausing and getting your priorities in line and getting your head and heart right, you will adversely affect the rest of the day. Before you check email, grab a cup of coffee, or even interact with anyone else, you need to connect with God. All else falls in line after that. HE must be first – a combination of His Word and His Spirit launching you into battle. In Psalm 92:2, David takes this part of the day to thank God for his new and fresh mercies and grace each morning.
Your WORK DAY – This is the battle ground. This is where all the learning, leaning and leading is put into action – with customers, colleagues, friends, family and even total strangers. Where the Morning Start prepares you for the DAY, this is the daily Application of Truth as we are going – to act justly, love mercy and walk humble before your God… Micah 6:8.
Evening Recap – This is where we pause and take a moment to reflect on the day. It is also the time we need to thank HIM for His faithfulness throughout the day. (Again see Psalm 92:2). This helps us to adopt a posture of thankfulness and reflect on the day’s blessings, Even when we faced times where life hit us hard, He was faithful!
So, what will your tomorrow look like?
